Hi, I’m Beth

A bit about me…

I’m a dog-loving, coffee addict mum of two.

Family is everything to me, and I’m lucky to have my wonderful husband, Lathaam, and our two spirited girls, Kyra and Neve, by my side. Oh, and can’t forget our woofer, Tess, who manages to steal the show in most family photos.

I consider myself an introverted extrovert, which basically means I love being social but also need a solid nap afterwards to recover from all the mingling.

I thrive on coffee, because let’s face it, no wedding photographer can function without a caffeine boost. And long beach walks with my lovable yet certifiably crazy cocker spaniel are like my therapy sessions – equal parts exhilarating and exasperating.

Autumn is my jam—the season of cozy blankets, warm cups of coffee (or sometimes a glass of wine, depending on how the day has gone), and those long walks with my trusty woofer by my side. There’s something magical about the crisp air and falling leaves that ignites my creative spirit.

When I’m not capturing love stories or getting tangled in my dog’s leash, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. You’ll often find us having dancing and terrible singing sessions over cocktails.

I have quite a dry sense of humour – I have to admit, I do hold back a bit at weddings. Not everyone is a fan of my witty banter, but hey, there’s no accounting for taste. If you appreciate a touch of dry humour and relatability, then I’m your photographer. Let’s capture your special day with a sprinkle of laughter and a whole lot of love!

How I got into wedding photography

I stumbled into wedding photography after starting with family photography. Now, here I am, in my fourth year capturing weddings. I love capturing both the romance and the chaos of weddings. Plus, I enjoy getting to know my clients and bringing out their personalities in the photos.

In an ironic twist, I absolutely despise having my own photo taken. I know how awkward it can feel, and that’s why I make sure I make it as easy as possible for my couples!

“Beth thinks of everything on your wedding day, from giving the bride tissues for her handbag, making sure the bouquet is kept in water during a heatwave, to all the minute details which make your photos look incredible. She genuinely felt like one of the family on the day, and gently prompted us to ensure the photos we had planned for all happened as they should.”
